A selected team of mentees from the Guidance Mentoring Program carried out a project for HeForShe VIENNA in the summer semester 2021. The organisation is active in the field of gender equality.
Initial situation
Diversity and equality issues are gaining importance not only in public discourse but also in the corporate world. As a result, a number of initiatives have emerged in recent years, particularly those of civil society. So far, however, it has remained unclear how these initiatives could stand out from each other or how they could jointly promote solutions.
Added value through guidance
As part of the one-semester project, the students of the Guidance Mentoring Program carried out a mapping of the gender equality landscape in Austria. The team has researched a variety of organisations and structured them according to a variety of criteria. Thanks to the project results, HeForShe VIENNA has now been able to sustainably develop its own positioning.
