Business Consulting Society

The Business Consulting Society (BCS) is a student association that brings students together with consulting companies and organizes workshops and talks of various kinds. In this project, a selected group of our Mentees had the task of analysing and optimising the marketing reach of the association. Through the collaboration of Guidance and BCS within the framework of a one-semester social media marketing project, optimizations were analysed and implemented.


The initial situation presented to our mentees was the analysis of the communicative positioning of the student organisation BCS, as well as the treatment of the relevance of print marketing in the previous pandemic years. Together with the representatives of BCS, our mentees discussed and defined the focus of the project and were then able to start their work. Initially, the mentees conducted a competition analysis and surveyed the value of marketing for clubs in general, and for BCS in particular relevant factors, using a survey of the actual and the supposed status. Based on this analysis and the merging of the collected competition analysis and the survey results, strategic measures for future social media and general marketing measures could be defined and proposed.
